Natalia's Sneak Peek!

I always look forward to meeting up with Carla, Cameron, and Natalia for Natalia's session every 3 months! If only you could be a fly on the wall at our sessions...they are SO much fun! I don't think I laugh harder at any other session. Carla & Cameron are so much fun & I'm extremely honored that they have invited me back every 3 months since their maternity session! Katie's Sneak Peek!

Can I just start by saying that every time I type "sneak peek" in the subject title, I have to backspace because I spelled either "sneak" or "peak" wrong? I mean, I know how to spell. I'm actually really good at spelling. But they sound the same and my brain has a really hard time not typing "sneek peek" or "sneak peak." Glad English was my first language...it'd be hard to learn!

But I digress. Today I had the absolute pleasure of spending time with an old friend from high school. She's expecting her third child this month (one week from today, actually!) & wow, pregnancy looks great on her! She's a pro at all of this by now but has yet to take maternity photos! Of course, I jumped at the chance to gift her a session...the photos look great! Here's a sneak peek (typo'd again...twice):

What??! Kate shot a wedding?!

I don't usually agree to do weddings. I've done a few for clients, friends, and family, but I don't consider myself a wedding photographer. However, I hesitantly agreed to cover Danny & Aristea's wedding yesterday (they're practically family) and I'm really glad I did. Here are some of my favorites from the day!













And there are LOTS more. Maybe someday I'll be confident enough to do weddings full time, because I really do have fun with them. Congratulations to the both of you!!

The Castleberry Family Sneak Peek!

I had the pleasure of meeting the Castleberry family today! We had our session by the dam at Mission Trails (a new location for me!) and it was an absolutely fantastic spot...so much variety! These guys were tons of fun, and I came out with some awesome shots. Here are some of my favs!

A few months ago I took maternity photos for Chau & her husband down at La Jolla Cove. They were so much fun and SO excited to be expecting! I had the pleasure of meeting their little one yesterday...so adorable! Here's a sneak peek!

Isaiah sneak peek!

Today I met up with my good friend Rachel & her sister, Sharay. You might remember Sharay, I took her maternity photos awhile ago and gave her a shout out the other day when she was giving birth as I was blogging.

I met little Isaiah today for the first time & he is absolutely adorable. He has a full head of hair; he looks like a little man! I had a ton of fun with these guys, and I got to try out a bunch of poses & such I've been wanting to try! Check out the sneak peek!

Portraits in the Park Event!

Our first ever Portraits in the Park Event at Balboa Park was a huuuge success! I met a ton of awesome people & had a lot of fun. Here are some of my favorite photos. There are tons more but I only have time to upload 5 right now!

Anyways, I've decided to do more of these...maybe even up to one or two a month. It'll be a great way to get to know people & establish a client base I think!
